This year, students in QUT's Creative Writing program, where I teach, will be running a one-day festival called The Writer's Grove, a name that picks up on the location of the campus in Brisbane's Kelvin Grove suburb.
Writer's Grove, to be held on Friday 23 October 2026, will consist of author panels, workshops, and Q&As, with a focus on local artists. Speakers include Mirandi Riwoe, Sara El Sayed, Rohan Wilson, and Angela Slatter.
Tickets, including to a session on memoir that I will take part in, are available here.
