Today is the launch date of series 2 of Viking Lives, a podcast that I am making with broadcaster and author Richard Fidler.
The podcast offers a history of the Viking Age through a series of individual biographies drawn from medieval sagas and chronicles.
Series 2 begins with the life of Harald Finehair, reputedly the first ruler of the unified kingdom Norway.
